Driving the transition towards sustainable aviation
Aviation decarbonisation is one of the most significant challenges of the energy transition. Addressing it requires close cooperation across the entire aviation ecosystem, including airlines, airports, energy producers, regulators, research institutions and industry.

PSDL brings these stakeholders together, creating a platform for the exchange of knowledge, data and expertise, while supporting the development of common standards and recommendations for both policymakers and market participants.

PSDL Mission

Our mission is to advance aviation decarbonisation through evidence-based analysis, industry dialogue, and the promotion of technologies and business models that deliver tangible greenhouse gas emissions reductions.

We support the development of sustainable aviation, a competitive economy and long-term energy security.

Assessment

We conduct and support analyses of aviation-related CO₂ emissions based on recognised methodologies and robust data. Our work helps stakeholders make informed decisions grounded in evidence rather than assumptions.

Promoting Renewable Energy and Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF)

We support the development and deployment of renewable energy solutions and Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) as key enablers of the aviation sector’s transition towards net-zero emissions.

Awareness

We promote knowledge and understanding of aviation decarbonisation through reports, industry events, webinars and expert engagement.

Supporting

We facilitate dialogue between industry, academia and public institutions, supporting the development of innovative technologies and research and development initiatives.

PSDL Officially Registered

Following months of preparation, the Polish Association for Aviation Decarbonisation has been officially registered. PSDL was established on the initiative of experts representing the aviation, energy and advisory sectors, united by a shared commitment to supporting the transformation and decarbonisation of aviation.

The founding members of the Association are (from left in the photo): Marek Stachura, Jacek Sobolewski, Paweł Kryształowicz, General Leszek Cwojdziński, Stéphane Rauber, Dorota Rajkowska, Michał Turowski and Elżbieta Czarnecka.
